Common questions
Answers before you ask.
Site-wide questions live here. Each service page has its own FAQ for questions that only apply to that kind of job.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes — CSLB License #1154251, fully bonded and insured. We can add your property as additional insured on request for commercial work.
- Where do you work?
- Across the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County. If you're outside the Valley but within an hour's drive, ask — we'll often still take the job.
- How do quotes work?
- Free, no pressure, fixed-price. We come look at the job, measure, and write you a quote with the scope and the total. Take as long as you need to decide — we don't follow up aggressively.
- How long do I need to wait to schedule?
- Usually 1–3 weeks out, depending on the season and job size. Exterior season (spring–fall) books up faster. We'll give you an honest estimate when we send the quote.
- What paint brands do you use?
- Sherwin-Williams Emerald and Benjamin Moore Aura by default. Both are top-tier paints we trust. If you want a specific brand or color, we'll use what you spec.
- Do you offer color consultation?
- Yes, free with any job. We'll bring sample boards and walk through options with you before we start.
- Do you do small jobs, or only whole-house repaints?
- Small jobs are welcome — a single bedroom, one accent wall, a bathroom refresh. There's no minimum.
- What kind of warranty do you offer?
- Two-year workmanship warranty on every job. If anything peels, blisters, or fails because of how we applied it, we come back and fix it at no charge.
- How do I pay?
- Check or bank transfer for residential, with terms agreed in the quote. Commercial follows your standard procurement process — we'll work with whatever you use.
- Do you do exterior work in winter?
- We avoid exterior painting below 50°F surface temp or in active rain. LA winters usually have plenty of paintable days, but we won't push a job into bad conditions.
- Will I need to move out during the job?
- No. We work in occupied homes constantly. We section off the work area, ventilate, and use low-VOC paints by default so you can keep using the rest of the house.
